The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for people living with a disability.

NDIS funding is a scheme provided by the Australian Government that provides funds to enable people living with a disability to choose how they receive ongoing support.

If you live with a disability or spinal cord injury you may receive funding from Return To Work SA or the Lifetime Support Authority.

Frequently asked questions

The NDIS provides funding to people who are eligible to gain access to the services and support to enable them to live more independently, and with a better quality of life.

The NDIS funding is for people living with a permanent disability or spinal cord injury. The disability may be physical, intellectual, cognitive, neurological, visual, hearing or psychosocial.

It is not available where a person has a temporary impairment.

If your NDIS support plan includes driver assessment and training for vehicle modifications that relate to a spinal cord injury or other disability, then modifications and equipment may be covered.

You can access driver training and occupational therapists who are experts in modified vehicle set-up as part of our specialised services offering.
