PQSA’s Peer Support Advocates provide support, advice, information and advocacy for clients and their family and friends. Our Peer Support Advocates have experienced a spinal cord injury, so they bring an understanding of the issues confronting all clients during and after rehabilitation. They provide the opportunity to talk to someone who appreciates the challenges someone going through Rehabilitation goes through. The support they offer is not only available to our clients, but also to their family and friends.
The Peer Support Advocates work at the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre’s Spinal Injury Unit and at the PQSA office at Dulwich. They can also visit our clients at home or at other convenient locations. The purpose of our Peer Support Advocacy Service is to support our clients to achieve their goals.
