Harry lives at Netley with his wife Terry. After surgery on his spine, he was introduced to the PQSA Peer Support Advocates during rehabilitation at Hampstead. "Graham and Vicky were wonderful. They gave us a lot of information and did it all with a smile. I went from not walking to walking with a frame."

Before he went home, Harry's home was reviewed by an Occupational Therapist and necessary additions to the bathroom were identified.

"Graham told us about the PQSA grant and that paid for bathroom modifications, a security screen door and an air conditioner."

In a home that is now comfortable and safe, Harry says he is nearly independent. After the grant covered changes to the bathroom, Harry can do his own personal care. "We are extremely happy with PQSA and the additions paid for with the $4,000 PQSA grant."
