Costs, benefits and outcomes of vehicle modification

What is the research about?

We want to identify consumer outcomes of vehicle modifications, including economic and social impacts (eg. involvement in paid/voluntary work, social and community participation and access to health or community services).

Who is undertaking the project?

A multi-disciplinary research team from University of South Australia and Flinders University. Funding is being provided by the Lifetime Support Authority. This project has been approved by the University of South Australia’s Human Research Ethics Committee.

What will I be asked to do?

You will be asked to take part in a focus group with up to six other consumers of modified vehicles. If you live outside of Adelaide, you can still participate but we will ask you to take part in a telephone interview instead.

You will receive a $50 voucher for a major retailer in acknowledgement of your time and contributions.
