PQSA always prioritises the care and safety of our clients and staff and is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Australia is now a concern, particularly for the most vulnerable to whom we provide services, and we are aligning our actions with advice from the Australian Government. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new respiratory illness that has similar symptoms to that of the common cold or flu and we all know how quickly these usual winter bugs can spread around the workplace.
PQSA/HomeCare+ provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and free of risks to health, so far as is reasonably practicable. Our expectation is that our staff must take reasonable care for their health and safety in the workplace and for the health and safety of others who may be affected by what they do or don't do. If a staff member is feeling unwell, they should stay home and away from the workplace.
