COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT (as of 18/11/2020)
Our clients are no doubt aware that the State Government has announced a lockdown of the state effective midnight tonight. PQSA/HomeCare+ does fall under the definition of 'Essential Services' which means we can continue to provide those services that ensure clients are not at risk of harm.
So our services, such as in-home supports will continue. We will consult with you and let you know if any particular ‘non-essential’ services or supports need to be re-arranged. Community outings will not currently be facilitated due to Government directives. We are actively communicating with staff to ensure they are also kept up to date and whilst the advice is to wear masks when in public, we are sourcing additional stock to allow our workers to provide supports to clients whilst wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Please be patient as we do this as there is a large demand for these products, particularly in regional areas.
We are still here for you when you need us – please look after each other and stay safe in the meantime.

PQSA always prioritises the care and safety of our clients and staff and is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Australia is now a concern, particularly for the most vulnerable to whom we provide services, and we are aligning our actions with advice from the Australian Government. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new respiratory illness that has similar symptoms to that of the common cold or flu and we all know how quickly these usual winter bugs can spread around the workplace.
PQSA/HomeCare+ provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and free of risks to health, so far as is reasonably practicable. Our expectation is that our staff must take reasonable care for their health and safety in the workplace and for the health and safety of others who may be affected by what they do or don't do. If a staff member is feeling unwell, they should stay home and away from the workplace.
Specific requirements are in place for people who have returned from a country or region that is at high or moderate risk for coronavirus (COVID-19), or think they may have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19). Click here for the list of at-risk countries and isolation requirements.

We always welcome feedback, compliments and complaints.
