About The Role

Are you a skilled and empathetic nurse who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with spinal injuries? If so, we invite you to join our Lifestyle Support team as a Spinal Nurse Advisor.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide expert advice and support to our clients with spinal injuries. As a Spinal Nurse Advisor, you will be responsible for assessing our clients' needs, providing guidance on self-care and injury management, and supporting them through their recovery journey.

About You

  • Demonstrate working knowledge with spinal cord injuries and related conditions.
  • Utilise this knowledge to provide guidance, support and up to date advice to clients on a range of issues.
  • Support clients in maintaining their general health and well-being in order to live their potential.
  • Demonstrate relationship-building and excellent communication skills, with a strong client focus.
  • Bring your passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge to the table - we’re looking for you!

What You Bring

  • Nursing qualifications with current AHPRA registration
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ nursing experience
  • Experience in spinal, orthopaedic or rehabilitation nursing (desirable)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation and treatment following spinal cord injuries (desirable)
  • A high level of professionalism and a great sense of humour

You will be required to have a DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain the appropriate Employment Screenings as stipulated by DHS/NDIS requirements. The successful applicant will be an Australian Citizen or hold a current work visa and also hold a current South Australian full drivers’ licence.
