PQSA is offering a full-time or part-time Senior Occupational Therapist position to passionate and experienced professionals looking to develop their skills and grow within their role. While extensive experience with spinal cord injuries or community rehabilitation is not necessary, we're looking for an OT who is eager to learn and grow with us.

About You

We are seeking a passionate individual to:

  • Deliver home-based occupational therapy services for clients with a range of needs, including complex and multiple disabilities, including daily living, mobility, and home safety.
  • Support our clients to maintain independence by enhancing abilities, adapting their environment, and providing education.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of high-quality services.
  • Undertake assessments for complex equipment prescription and home modifications.
  • Be client focused, with the ability to work independently and have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy)
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ OT experience
  • Hands on knowledge of complex equipment prescription, home modifications assessment and planning
  • Rehabilitation assessment and treatment experience
  • Knowledge of current technology and equipment solutions
  • Previous experience in community rehabilitation and service provision would be desirable.

You will be required to have a DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain them and must hold a current full South Australian drivers’ licence, be an Australian Citizen or hold a current work visa.
