We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team with part-time or full-time hours available.

PQSA and HomeCare+ are known by South Australians for our specialised disability services. We are a not for profit organisation with a passionate and dedicated team who work together to empower people with spinal cord injury and other disabilities to choose how they live their potential. We operate from six offices around South Australia and employ approximately 700 staff.

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate individual to:

  • Deliver home-based occupational therapy services for clients with a range of needs, including complex and multiple disabilities, including daily living, mobility, and home safety
  • Support our clients to maintain independence by enhancing abilities, adapting their environment, and providing education
  • Undertake assessments for complex equipment prescription and home modifications
  • Be client focused, with the ability to work independently and have excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Who You Are

You will have:

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy)
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of five (5) years OT experience
  • Hands on knowledge of complex equipment prescription, home modifications assessment and planning
  • Rehabilitation assessment and treatment experience
  • Knowledge of current technology and equipment solutions
  • Previous experience in community rehabilitation and service provision would be highly desirable

You will be required to have a DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain the appropriate screenings as stipulated by DHS/NDIS requirements and must hold a current full South Australian drivers licence, and be an Australian Citizen or hold a current work visa.
