Who We Are

PQSA and HomeCare+ are known by South Australians for our specialised disability services. We empower people with spinal cord injury and other disabilities to choose how they live their potential. PQSA is a not-for-profit organisation run by a team of passionate and dedicated staff and volunteers who work together to enable everyone to fully participate in the community. We operate from six offices around South Australia and employ 700 staff.

About the Role

In this creative role, you will:

  • Monitor processes and compliance systems and contribute to the continual improvement of existing quality frameworks
  • Contribute to the drive of a quality culture by monitoring and developing controls and operational procedures, through effective corrective or preventative risk management
  • Provide strategic quality advice on matters such as service delivery, legislative updates, and quality standards and frameworks
  • Effectively support PQSA's internal and external audit processes
  • Build effective and trusted relationships with our workers, peers, leaders and all other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with members across all of PQSA's divisions with a positive and achievement-focused approach to contribute to the realisation of PQSA's overarching strategy

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an innovative individual with:

  • Knowledge of the disability industry and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience with quality assurance
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in an autonomous role
  • Ability to respond with empathy and maintain calm in stressful situations
  • Problem solving and time management skills
